Tamil Nadu govt presents interim budget for year 2021-22
- Ahead of the coming assembly elections, the Tamil Nadu govt presented an interim budget for the year 2021-22 in the state assembly on the opening day of the budget session.
- Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister O Panneerselvam presented the interim budget amid walk out by the members of the opposition DMK and its allies, the Congress and the Indian Union Muslim League.
- The opposition members later said that they were dissatisfied with the functioning of the state govt.
