Prime Minister inaugurates various railway projects in West Bengal
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the extended service of Kolkata Metro Rail between Noapara and Dakshineshwar.
- The 4.1-kilometre long stretch of Metro Rail has been constructed at a cost of Rs 464 crore.
- The much-awaited extension linked the 2 world-famous Kali temples at Kalighat and Dakshineswar.
- The Prime Minister also inaugurated and dedicated to the nation new lines of Eastern and South Eastern Railways.
