  • Country music singer and songwriter Jeff Carson, who scored hits with “Not On Your Love” and “The Car” before becoming a police officer, has died at 58.
  • Carson’s career had 14 singles on the Billboard chart in his career, Westby said. He retired from music to become a police officer in Franklin.
  • Carson returned to music in 2019 and released a previously recorded song, “God Save The World.”

Ajay Jayaram retires from international badminton

  • The former Indian badminton team member has reached a career-best world ranking of 13 in 2017.

PramodSawant takes oath as Goa Chief Minister

  • This is Sindhu’s second title of 2022. The World No. 7 had won the Syed Modi India International in January.
