The Tri-Service contingent of the Indian Armed Forces comprised marched along with contingents of Russian Armed Forces and 17 other countries during the Victory Day parade held in Moscow.

Rahul Dravid has been named the greatest Indian Test batsman, according to a poll conducted on social media by Wisden India. Dravid beat Tendulkar by a narrow margin of votes in the final round of voting.
The poll initially had 16 Indian batting greats, with Sunil Gavaskar and Virat Kohli being the two others to have made it through to the ‘semi finals’. Gavaskar beat Kohli in the ‘third-place play-off’ by a narrow margin.
Both Dravid and Tendulkar are regarded as two of the greatest batsmen of all time. They both have over 10,000 runs in Tests and ODIs.
