  • Recently a rare tea variety from tea gardens of Assam has been sold for a price of 75,000/ Kg.
  • The tea variety named 'Golden Butterfly' was auctioned at Guwahati Tea Auction Centre.
  • An exotic tea is judged by its aroma and  colour which gives it unique features.It hasdemands from all parts of the world.

Indian cyclists script history in Frankfurt

  • Indian men's team comprising of Esow AlbenRonaldo Singh and Rojit Singh created history recently as they clinched the Team Sprint gold medal at the World Junior Track Cycling Championships in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • This is India’s first gold at any global cycling event.
  • The Indian team defeated Australia in the final, clocking 44.681 seconds to claim the Gold medal. Great Britain took home the bronze.
