La Soufriere volcano on the Caribbean island of St Vincent has erupted in another huge explosion, sending sulphuric gas and ash causing concerns about the safety of residents who have not evacuated.
The latest eruption sent fast-moving flows of hot gas and volcanic material down the south and southwest flanks of the volcano.
The government had ordered about 16,000 people who live in communities close to the volcano to evacuate on April 9, after the island was put on red alert due to a shift in volcanic activity at the crater of La Soufriere.
The Uttar Pradesh Central Sunni Waqf Board has filed an application in the Allahabad High Court seeking to stop proceedings in a Varanasi court that directed survey of the disputed Kashi Vishwanath Temple-Gyanvapi Mosque complex.
The Varanasi court had ordered a survey by ASI to find out whether the religious structure standing at present at the disputed site is a superimposition, alteration or addition or there is a structural overlapping.

The term of the present Kerala government will end soon after the results of the assembly elections held on April 6 are announced on May 2. Jaleel contested the polls from Thavanoor seat in Malappuram this time.
