India’s WPI inflation spikes

  • The wholesale inflation across the country rose to 13.11 per cent in February, data released by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry showed.
  • The wholesale price index (WPI) grew 12.96 per cent during the month of January, while the WPI for December last year was revised to 14.27 per cent from 13.56 per cent.
  • The WPI inflation has remained in the double digits for the 11th consecutive month beginning April 2021.

The power of dog wins best picture award at BAFTA

  • Hurt, who had a long career, was known for his roles in films such as Broadcast News, The Big Chill, and Body Heat.
  • He was nominated four times for an Academy Award, winning it for his role in Kiss of the Spider Woman, 1985.

Russia to source military equipment from China

Lakshya Sen loses Germany Open final
